Good guitar, especially for a beginner to intermediate player. If you pay the list price ($199), your're probably paying too much. I got mine in a package deal with an amp on a drum-set trade-in. I'm very satisfied with my Austin. As I become a more experienced and serious player, I will probably consider upgrading.
Price: $199.00 (new)
Where Obtained: Local music shop
Features:
3 Single Coil Pickups, 5 Position Selector switch, One Volume & Dual Tone Controls, Standard Tremolo, Maple neck with Rosewood Fingerboard, Die-Cast Tuning Machines, Chrome Hardware
Playability:
Great action-easy to play.
Sound Quality:
Sounds pretty good, although I get some occassional buzzing. (Could be me!). It provides a good sound for home use. I get some very good sounds using it with a Digitech RP-200 multi-effects units.
Durability:
Seems pretty durable.
