The best thing about this band, is that every song is an explosion of music! Every song suprises the listener from beginning to end. Each song has a great "hook", and each member of the band takes the listener on a great trip, exploring EVERY aspect of their instruments. No limits to what this band can do.

Newest member Chris Broderick shows how to really play a 7-string guitar. Classically trained on Violin, Piano and guitar, Chris turns his fretboard into a burning lump of wood. His playing style is an absolute pleasure to listen to. Never boring, never playing the same things twice. Which is basically the whole album. Each song is really awesome to listen to.

Chris Broderick's playing style can't really be compared to many people...His style is very much his own. But he can play brutally fast, extremely clean, yet, plays many runs, leads & riffs, that have classical overtones, yet, are nothing like Yngwie's style.

If anyone here loves GREAT guitar playing, and has a love for some killer, balls-to-the-wall progressive metal, than this band takes the cake! I've owned this cd now for 3 weeks, and it hasn't LEFT my CD player since the day I bought it. This CD CRANKS!!!

This band is now one of my top-5 favorite bands. Chris
