Rating: An outstanding beginners guitar. I purchased this for my 11 year old son. I liked the sound and playability far better than the other beginner guitars I looked at for him. At this price it was a particularly good guitar to start out on. |

Features:
A very nice beginners acoustic guitar featuring a cutaway body, spruce laminate top, mahogany sides, and a rosewood fretboard. A good deal for the price. |
|
Playability:
Very soft action - perfect for beginners. The cutaway body is nice because it allows younger beginners to get to the higher end of the fretboard with ease although many kids will like the looks alone. |

Sound Quality:
Outstanding sound for the price. Although an experienced player will note that the resonance and fullness is less than the high end guitars, this guitar's sound is far better than any other guitar I looked at in this price range. |

Durability:
It's a beginners guitar and I had to look at a couple of them before I found one with the fit and finish that I wanted to take home. On the other hand, it is well built for it's purpose. It isn't designed for the stage, but seems plenty sturdy enough to handle daily practice and jam sessions with friends. |
