These are my #i favorit strings for my Ovation. Except for that.055 E string. I would like to find a custom set that topped out at .050. I had a couple of sets that I used with the 5th string as the 6th etc.but then it gets all messed up at the other end. they worked great that way though.
great string at a decent price. I still use D'Addario over them though. Mostly because of that E string

Great sounding guitar strings.these are my favorites of all time, they are a little heavy on the low end for me but as I play more this doesn't seem to be as Important. the first set I put on I couldn't get Barre chords held down on the 5th and 6th strings. I prefer a string set not to exceed .050.
I use them on an Ovation Acoustic. I play on a Worship team that plays everything from hymns to christian rock. these are the best sounding strings I've ever had on this Guitar
They lasted 2 months on my first set. I finally changed them because they wher filthy more than anything. I determin when to change the strings by an electronic tuner.so it really takes any personal openien out of it. when the tuner starts to waver when I,m trying to tune the strings it's time to change them. the tuner was rock steady at two months. I've never had that happen before. they stayed in tune to. even under climate changes that whipped out other strings.
