Rating: I have Epiphone Fender and Fernandes guitars and love my yamaha's as much as any of the others,When I find something that has good feel, sound and looks I stay with it,The yamaha in my book are as good as all of the above |
Model Year: 2001
Price: $799.00 (new)
Where Obtained: mars music
Features:
Great looking and it plays like a dream, a good mid priced guitar |
Playability:
The action is in the med range ,with a realy fast neck all switches are out of the way so you can fly but still have access to all the knobs. the adler body with mahogany body gives it amazing tone |
Sound Quality:
Played through my Randell amp and my Crate with a Toneworks Wammy pedal it has a fine sound for blus and jazz, but is well at home playing heavy rock, has a full sound from sweet too dark, this is were the master tone, phase control comes in and the DiMarzio Q100 hum cancelling soapbar pick-ups give it a tone all its own.
like yamahas beacuse they have great sound and playablity for a fair price.I like this as much as my LesPaul and Dearmond t77 |
Durability:
Stays in tune well, and I have not had to adjust anything while playing matbe its the yamaha original tailpeice design be it is well behaved,Like most guitars it dosen't care much for damp weather but have not had a problem with weather effects |
