I also have a Fender 24CE that is comperable and lists for $200 less. I'd go for the Alvarez if you want to play plugged in. The preamp in the Fender is crappo

Made in Korea I believe. Technically the one I have is a second. It has a slight finish blemish but it's really hard to see and might actually be in the wood.
Very nice playability. This guitar is very sensitive to humidity.
Sound Quality:
Very nice sound quality for a classical cut/away. Pre-amp works very well.
I don't know, I've had it a year now and play it 2-3 times a week. But I take care of my stuff and don't beat it around.
