As mentioned before, this is a great guitar for the price. I have one made by Royal that I bought used that I play more. I was looking into a Jackson or possibly an Epiphone, but the funding wasn't there. I suppose that I am happy for that because I walked away with a guitar that I really like! =)

Volume and single tone control with 5 position switch makes the sound slightly variable. S/S/H configuration is nice, and kicking the Humbucker in with my old Crate 212 amp makes the neighbors nuts (heehee). I was told that the color was called "Atomic Grape" although it's more of a metallic blue that's nearly silver. It was a great buy in my opinion, and she plays hard and fast. A great beginner's guitar but an affordable "keeper" for us without the cash to shell out for a Les Paul Custom.
Thin neck is a plus on this guitar for us with short fingers. The only flaw in this guitar is that I don't play it enough =).
I use a Crate 212 230 watt "practice" amp at home and a friend of mine allows me to use his Peavy Head/Cab combo altho I am not sure the model.
I play many styles with this guitar, Metal, rock pop... everything but acoustic.
I don't play live too often, although I am working on getting my band working in that direction... But the times I do, I haven't had a problem. Seems impossible to beat it out of tune, and have had no issues with temprature changes.
