Hondo Eclipse

Electric 6-String Guitar
Maker:  Hondo
Description:  A Les Paul Copy, except about half the WEIGHT. Originally, it had Seymour Duncan humbuckers in it as the stock pickups. I've taken it around to dealers, and it is estimated to have been made in 1982-83.

Rating:
At the time, I bought this one, because I couldn't afford a Les Paul. I still haven't bought one...
Price: $200.00 (used)
Where Obtained: Pittman's Music, West Siloam Springs, Ok
Features:
It's your basic 6 string electric. I'm not sure of the wood, but it's a light color. I was very surprised when I stripped the original balck off, so I just put a clear coat over it. It has a H/H set up. Just another Les Paul copy, but the best one I've seen!
Playability:
The action can get real low, and still play nicely. The neck is real thin. The wood gives a real nice tone to it. So far, I have no complaints...
Sound Quality:
The guitar is great for blues and rock! It has a full sound to it. It is better as a studio guitar, I think.
Durability:
I've given it quite a beating over the last 6 or 7 years. That should say it all.
