I looked at several Taylors, Martins, and Takaminies. I would definitely do this one again. Playability is a favorite. The tuners are not tight as to tuning Have to be really careful to get them in the right place
Model Year: 1996
Price: $1600.00 (new)
Where Obtained: craigs music
Features:
Made by Taylor in US of Indial Rosewood and sitka spruce. Ebony fret board, 6strings, no controls, itis an acoustic with a fishman tranducer, natural satin finish. it is a dreadnought. bridge is an acoustsic type. tuners are whatever Taylor used.
Playability:
I gotwhat I wanted. the only flaw is I easily pull the first string off the neck to the side
Sound Quality:
I play it mostly as an acoustic, but I use a SWR Clalifornia Blonde with it. for my fingerstyle folk type. Itis not a rock and roll guitar.Has an excellent warm, but bright sound
Durability:
No problelms
