DeArmond Jet_Star

Electric 6-String Guitar

Made by DeArmond

Description This guitar has a very unusual body, and it also has some other cool features like a Set Neck, and I installed Sperzel locking tuners on it.

I chose this because it costed practically nothing, and it had a lot of features for the price. DeArmond is one company that always has a good tone. That's about it.
Model Year: 1998
Price: $220.00
Where Obtained: A Friend
It was made in Korea. The neck is mahogany, just as the body is. 22 frets I believe, and it's a 6 string. It has 2 volume controls, and 2 tone controls. It's 2 humbuckers are very nice Goldtone ones. I installed Sperzel locking tuners on it, which was mentioned earlier.
This is a nice rhythm guitar. I can get some nice alternative solos out on it. The neck feels great. This is almost a mix of an SG and some other guitar. It is very similar to the S-200 I believe, which was played by Muddy Waters. It has no flaws that I can think of.
Sound Quality:
I use this with a Kustom amp and a Danelectro Pastrami Overdrive. This is a very nice Alternative Rock guitar. It sounds fairly warm, and has never been noisy.
Very Reliable, doesn't need to be adjusted a lot due to the replaced tuners, and the strap-locks work well.
