E.C. at his blues best. It doesn't get any better than this.

This is a masterpiece. An intimate album with a lot of very beautiful tunes. It's a must.

Im not sure how this album compares to others by Clapton, because I only have mp3s of his, but I have to say, I think that this is an excellent album! Clapton brings acoustic blues to the fore hear, bringing many people who have not appreciated it, to hear & love it.The only track which I do not enjoy as much is Lonely Stranger, but thats simple a matter of taste. Layla is excellent and there are lots of tracks which seem to be 'old favourite' blues tracks. There is obviously great and precision Clapton on this Cd, so i suggest you go out and buy it!

Very, very good record. Is not usual to listen to EC playing acoustic. He uses very personal techniques, and the overall result is excellent.

Eric Clapton once again flaunts his genius. With beautiful playing and some masterful reworkings of old songs and covers, Clapton makes a set that stands up well against his previous efforts. Tears in Heaven always steals the show, especially if you haven't heard it a zillion time already. If you want to hear some good blues playing pick up this record.
