Californication has RHCP's most mature sound, as they have gotten older, and so has their music. But that doesn't mean that they can no longer do funk, or alternative in general. This album has a LOT of hits, the first half of the entire CD has had quite a bit of air play on the radio, and all the videos have become hits. But that doesn't matter, does it? No, the CD is great in musical flavor and style, from the rocking sound of Around The world, to the dark, mature sound of Otherside, to the desert feel of Scar tissue. If you missed out on this album, you're missing out on a whole lot.

1. Around The World 2. Parallel Universe 3. Scar Tissue 4. Otherside 5. Get On Top 6. Californication 7. Easily 8. Porcelain 9. Emit Remmus 10. I Like Dirt 11. This Velvet Glove 12. Savior 13. Purple Stain 14. Right On Time 15. Road Trippin'

This is a great album, you'll play it until you're sick of it. Then after about a year or so, you'll start playing it again. Me and all my friends have. Actually, everyone I know has this CD....
