I have 3 Takamine guitars. and two fenders. They all have there own good and bad points. My oldest Takamine is the easiest to play and has a very rich full sound.
Model Year: 1987
Price: $600.00 (new)
Where Obtained: Tacoma Washinton
Features:
Spruce top, Mahogany back and sides, Rosewood Fretboard,Stainless tuners. Satin finish.
Playability:
Had the action lowered. This is a very easy guitar to play and the sound has gotten mellow and richer over the years. I always use this guitar when I take lessons.
Sound Quality:
Very good for strumming and fingerpicking.
Durability:
Stays in tune very well. Had to have the neck adjusted once in 13 years.
