Traded in an Alvarez for it....never looked back. Probably couldn't replace it with a new Washburn. This guitar is a workhorse

Just a great sounding dreadnaught. I bought it new around '82, and it was a bit brassy at first. Since then, it has opened up into a really full sounding and responsive guitar. Maybe its all that rosewood. No electronics. Fairly good tuners. Very pretty bookmatched back- gloss finish overall.
Action was a bit high when I bought it, but a little sanding on the bridge took care of that. Neck is gloss finish, kinda wish it was not.
Very warm and full sounding guitar for the money. I generally flatpick and play bluegrass music. Wouldn't trade it for a lower end Martin
Never had to do any adjusting to the truss rod. Been playing it for years.
