Danny Gatton's first recording already shows that this legendary guitar player was miles ahead of his time. Playing styles of Rockabilly, Blues, Country, Jazz, Funk and R&B set the tone for many great recordings to come from this great artist. The CD features the Benny Goodman/Charlie Christian tune "Good Enough to Keep" where Danny and pianist Dick Heintze trade licks. "Ubangi Stomp" has Danny throwing his rockabilly lines ala Scotty Moore. Unlike the original release the package features "TV Mama" where Danny plays some nasty slide and closes the CD with "Harlem Nocturne" which is sure to put chills through your spine. Go Danny Go!
