Pearl Jam, one of the most influencial and different bands of this century, releases it's first DVD. TOURING BAND 2000 is a great DVD, and the idea that created it was even cooler. It is composed of songs that they played on their North American tour, with extras added after the feature like Europe Montages and a funny extra called 'Smile', which is filled with 'outtakes', and things like that.
But I'm not going to talk about the extras, no, you'll have to discover that on your own. I'm here to tell you about the main feature. This DVD is for mainly the hard-core Pearl Jam audiance, since it is all of their biggest hits and some that were never released on singles. Here is the complete songlist:
Given To Fly
Nothing As It Seems
Not For You
I Got S---
Rocking In The Free World (cover)
Those songs are in the exact order as in the DVD. If your gonna buy this, BUY IT ON DVD. If you don't have a DVD player, than that must suck cause the DVD version is so much better than the VHS.
The only real problem you'll ever have with the DVD is that you wish it was longer, bigger, and more intense. The extras could have been bigger and had more variety, and the main show could have been comprised of a lot more songs (more from their new album would be nice as well). It hurt it enough to knock it down one spot, a harsh dissapointment since I'm a Pearl Jam fan. But the DVD itself, with what songs it has, won't dissapoint, a must see.
