Rating:
The only Fuzz Wah units I had ever seen were made by Dunlop. The only thing wrong with it is that it is pretty expensive, but it is like having three pedals in one. I like this because if you want to play like hendrix, you don't have to mess around with two pedals
Model Year: 2001
Price: $180 (new)
Where Obtained: Dr. Guitar Music
Features:
Has Fuzz on/off selector, selector for Fuzz before Wah and Wah before Fuzz, Volume knob and distortion intensity knob, and a wah on/off when you push all the way down on the pedal
Sound Quality:
I use this with a Peavey amp and a strat style guitar. I play Rock with this unit and it sounds great. It is good for blues also. Wah sounds very clear but needs to be adjusted when Fuzz is turned on because the fuzz makes it alot louder. The fuzz is great. The only thing I have found weird and kind of neat is that when I have my heel down for a more of a base sound, I get alot of feedback, but this only happens in that one spot. The effecs are both very good.
Ease of Use:
This unit isn't programmable, but has a great sound, only volume needs to be adjusted between Wah alone and Wah with Fuzz or just Fuzz. It is just as easu to use as other units I've seen.
Durability:
This pedal is CAST IRON. It is extremely durable. You could drop this off of a thirty story building, then run over it multiple times without breaking it. Dunlop is famous for durability. This is a very reliable unit.
