One of Alan Jackson's better studio albums, it is well rounded with a large number and variety of songs. But, in an era of country that most music at least is pop flavored, Alan's music remains true country. Part of the reason why he always has and always will be one of my favorite artists.

In my album collection I have nothing, but modern country singer's with albums full of electric guitars, crazy lyrics, and a more upbeat look. Alan is not one of these men, but once a friend purchased his album, I gave it a listen and learned how good the tradition country could be. This album is truly packed with 14 solid country tunes by one of Nashvilles best. LIVIN ON LOVE, THANK GOD FOR THE RADIO and I DON'T EVEN KNOW YOUR NAME are all here. My favorites were SUMMERTIME BLUES and the popular GONE COUNTRY. I'm sure Jason Henderson can agree with me on saying Alan is and will always be a true country artist.
