Lots of nice grooves on this disc. My favorite is "Bubblehouse". At times, the music ventures into the "background" category, but that's a minor knock.

This is an exceptional album. The sound is very immediate and the vibe is intimate and organic. This recording features the trio in their touring set up at the time - no piano, no DJs or other sit in musicians and very little in the way of overdubs or other studio tricks - just the boys doing what they do best... playing incredible improvised music. Anyone looking for music you can dance to as well as superb improvisational musicianship should definitely check out this album!
