The fact that many of the guitar licks and solos on this album are played on a fretless guitar is enough of a reason for anybody interested in guitar playing to buy it. The fact that the playing is damn good is another.

This album has a little of everything that Zappa is known for - tricky instrumental passages, clever lyrics that often border on being korny, blistering guitar solos filled to the brim with attitude and downright genius composing.
