(1992) Geffen

Personnel For me, this is Nirvana's best album. In case you don't know, NEVERMIND ranked as 2nd best rock album in VH1, following the legendary Beatles.
Description One bad-ass album, includes their #1 hit "Smells Like Teen Spirit." Kurt Cobain's legendary guitar playing really exploded in this album. I never get tired listening to it, from "Breed" to "In Bloom" and from "Lithium" to "Territorial P---ings."

One album I never tire of listening to. A good selection of songs but needs to be heard alongside Bleach to show the writing progression

Good, but not the savior of rock and roll that it was made out to be. It combines punk's lack of musicianship with pop's lack of imagination but Kurt Cobain's lyrics hold it together and keep it from becoming lethargic.

This is Nirvana's best album (IMHO). Only the Unplugged album could even touch this. The best part of this record was probably Dave Grohl's drumming, and the worst would have to be the song "Smells Like Teen Spirit" (it was played out). Tracks like "Drain You" and "On a Plain" are still my favorites. "Lithium", "Breed", "In Bloom", "Come as You Are", and "Polly" are also all excellent songs.

The guitar playing is average I think, but definately not bad. Cobain's guitar playing simple so it didn't really show grand skill, but I still enjoyed it. The bassist, Krist Novicet (SP???), was also quite simple in his playings, but Dave Grohl's drumming was incredible. The sound of them all together is just an unforgettable experience.

Still one of my favourite albums, a MUST-HAVE for any rocker.

This is quite possibly one of the greatest albums ever made. Any rock music collecter or fan MUST have this CD in their collection, if your from the Sixties, Seventies, or Eighties, and you don't have this CD, BUY IT ANYWAY, it's a piece of rock history that no one should be left out on, like Jimi Hendrix or Led Zeppelin, right? Right. I don't need to tell you anymore about this CD, the entire CD is great and legendary-THEIR ARE NO SKIPPING TRACKS ON NEVERMIND.

>Nevermind is better than their previous ones because it sells way more than their previous ones. >It can never be better, it's already perfect. >Of course there's a great guitar playing on it, it's Kurt Cobain.
