Excelent Playability and sound!
It SUXx!!!!! I had mine for 4 months and the bridge (edge pro) Saddle Unit snapped! If you want to buy 1 make sure you have enough money to pay for extra saddle units(i diddnt and i havnt played it for 9 weeks :( ) each saddle unit costs about $25 so its like $150 just to get extras!
It was a gift so im not sure what other guitars they looked at or considered,the next couple of guitars i want to get are a ibanez but js series and a carvin bolt fire red

I love playing this guitar, although it has a long neck
the way it's made makes it very easy to climb up and
down the frets during a solo. it's also very
comfortable to play and not real big and bulky.
This guitar sounds great too, the dual humbuckers
have a ton of crunch and also sound great on a
clean channel. I also like how much you can change
tone with the tone knob and pick-up selector, you can
go from a very bright tone to a deep full tone with the
fick of the switch.
The amp I use is a Fender Concert tube amp (165
watt.) and I use both th foot switch and a Ibanez ts9
tube screamer pedel and a crybaby. In My band we
play anything from 3doors down to MXPX so I have to
have a guitar with a wide range of tone qualities and
this guitar gives it to me on the spot with out fighting
it this guitar sounds great whether playing on a lead
channel or a clean channel.
I have never had a problem with it going out of tune
or having to do anything other than regular cleaning
and polishing.
