I've seen it many times in Guitar magazine's 'Top 25 essential guitar albums', with this album being named among them. Here in Canada, it was released as 'Twist and Shout' with 'I Saw Her Standing There' and 'Misery' omitted. Still, that album, held between my litle arms, made a huge, profound influence, still to this day. A remarkable feat in the fact, the album bears 8 original compositions! A mighty feat for any group in 1963. The goosebumps feelin' of John's ragged throat in 'Twist and Shout', the major hits in 'Please Please Me' and 'Love Me Do'. This album also holds one of my favourite Beatle ballads, 'Ask Me Why'. I definitely recommend this album.     Click Here For The Lyrics
