My overall opinion is after playing other new guitars in my $200-$500 range nothing could beat the S&P for the money. It had a small hole repair in the bottom by the strap button, but does not affect performance; at least for my needs! Overall a wonderful guitar new or used and I would highly recommend one to anyone looking for a quality instrument!

Simon & Patrick 6 string acoustic made in La Patrie Canada. Solid spruce top with Mahagany sides and back,
gloss finish. Simple headstock with goldplated tuners that seem very high quality. Position markers off center of neck. Very simple Dreadnought style guitar.
Very good playability, nice radius neck and great action. Adjustable truss rod so you can tweak action somewhat. No fretbuzz at any position. I found it to be as good as several Martin guitars I have tried; and at a fraction of the cost used!
Excellent resonance and sound quality. It does a good job with the blues, one of my current focuses. I used it in "open" G tuning for slide and it sounds great! I think it would be a great guitar for many other styles...
With proper stringing, it does not go out of tune no matter how hard I play.
Has a great sound. Plays well. Light and responsive.
