Unfortunately, too many people have forgotten about Thin Lizzy. Kids should know this album, and the influence this band has had on so many players.

Such an under rated band. Such sweet guitar licks, and groovy lyrics. GO BUY THIS ALBUM!!

"The Boys are back in Town" will always be one of my favourite all-time songs. The great thing about the song is that it portraits a group of friends. Not a ballad yearning for a lost love, or a third-person narrative about a troubled society, but a song, rich in character, of a guy's night out. A couple other gems include "Cowboy Song" and the energetic title cut. Thin Lizzy established themselves as one of the best 2-guitarist interplay groups. Two songs really speak for themselves with the twin guitar attacks on "Warriors" and the album closer "Emerald". Like many albums of this generation, I highly recommend it. I cannot imagine this album to ever sound outdated.
