I looked at many other guitars and was fixed on buying a Les Paul but when the dealer gave me this I fell in Love. Like I said the V-neck on this guitar makes it the perfect playing machine.
Model Year: 2004
Price: $1500.00
Where Obtained: Guitar World
Features:
How can anyone play a different guitar. I have never until now picked up a guitar with a V-neck and man the speed you get is 5 times faster than any other I have ever played. If you haven't played one try one out sometime. I have the maple neck with the sunburst finish. One thing I do on all my strats is to lock down the bridge which makes for a lower action and it is great. This one actually came from the speciality shop and was not picked up on time by the person that ordered it and I was the fortunate one to buy it. I am telling you all if you want something easy and enjoyable to play that is not neck heavy like the old SG gibson I used to have try one of these out. Of course I still have the SG because who could part with a 67 SG but, it is time to put it on the wall. Clapton knows how to pick and make a guitar so who else better than to copy.
Playability:
The action on this guitar is the best in the world. the V-neck makes the figuring and riffs easy because you don't have so much neck to play around. This is in my opinion the number one guitar in the world NO FLAWS
Sound Quality:
Amp wise I just use a Fender Twin with The Pod and can make it sound just like any amp and guitar you can have. Yes, I have to admit I play alot of blues and rock and this guitar is suited for that but, watch TV and count the number of strats you see compared to anything else.
Durability:
This guitar is steady of course I check it after each break and everyonce in awhile will have to tune it but, for the most part it stays in tune. No tuning during a song. I have it adjusted every month at least with new strings and the whole bit. Playing just six nights a month is more than it really needs and most of the time it doesn't need it then.

I looked at other american made strats and what I liked most about the clapton was the Kneck and versitility in sound it has.
Model Year: 1992
Price: $1000.00 (new)
Where Obtained: Lidgett Music
Features:
Body is adler,w/maple v shaped neck, this neck feels and plays nice.the top tone knob is a tbx control and effects all pick ups for great tone control.the bottom tone knob is a mid range boost,25 or so dls,and fattens up your overall sound, humbucker like.It comes W/gold lacesenor pickups that have a nice bell like tone and good sustain.I purchased mine 12 years ago This guitar is sheilded and grounded excellent, very little hum w/single coils(only to be expected from a "clapton") well worth the 1000 bucks.
Playability:
Action is great with 10's the Kneck is like,MAGIC good mirror finish on paint job
Sound Quality:
Great guitar for rock, blues, jazzfusion,or what ever makes your feet move and fingers dance. I play thru either a fender blues delux(40w 1x12)or a devill (60w 2x12).
Durability:
I had to ajust string height after i bought it but thats it.The kneck does have micro tilt but havent had to use it.
