Rating:
Martin's and Elixirs. I like D'Addarios 'cuz I do... There's no accounting for taste, though. :-)
Price: $6.00 (new)
Where Obtained: Mars
Features:
.012 on the high e string. Phospor bronze. Color coded ends...
Sound Quality:
I love the sound quality. Always have. I've used these on Ovation acoustics and an old Bentley acoustic. Great for strumming, holds its own with finger picking. I like this sound best... Martin strings come in a close second, though.
Durability:
With 3 hours of play a day... at least, they sound like new for about 2 weeks. They start breaking around 3 weeks. They stay in tune pretty well. I wind up changing them every 2 to 3 weeks.
