I've seen some negative reviews of the album, and I don't know why. This was the perfect follow-up to Peace Sells, and is full of great songs like Liar and Hook in Mouth.

Ok, for the people who put less than 3 stars for this album don't know what they're talking about. THIS ALBUM IS METAL. wow...songs like set the world on fire, bad a-- thrash, in my darkest hour just beautiful....and Megadeth's Instrumental of Into the Lungs of Hell...I don't get why people don't like this album...its one of Megadeth's greatest....one of my favorites....

Ok, so it's no Rust in Peace. This is a badass Megadeth record though. I feel this album is grossly underrated. This record has a feel to it that seems to soar through clouds, it's a real roller coaster ride. My favorite song on this album is track number 4, Mary Jane. It is quite possibly my favorite Megadeth song of all (if that was possible). The worst aspect of this record is that stupid Sex Pistols cover. I always skip past that damned song and go straight for Mary Jane. The guitar playing on this album is mostly chromatic stuff, but it's very interesting and melodic unlike those Kerry King wankfests. Can Dave Mustaine be compared to another guitar player? NO! The man is an unparelled rhythm guitar genius! Don't compare this album to Rust in Peace, or any other album. That is an unfair matchup. This album is awesome in its own right, and I highly suggest giving it a listen, it will grow on you.

I didn't like it that much. I feel that it's nothing like any other albums. it has a slightly "happy" feel to it. eww.

At this point, Megadeth hadn't quite come together like they would a few albums later, but even so, it's not a bad album at all. They even do a Sex Pistols cover.
