I chose this guitar, after looking at several, because of its playability and its sound. There was actually another guitar in the same store that first caught my eye. It was prettier in appearance, but this one won my heart because it sounds so excellent. My favorite part is the rich, full sound, and how easy it is to play. I just want everyone to know that I love this guitar. I would definitely buy it again. It has improved my playing.
Where Obtained: Pawn Shop
Made in Indonesia. 19 frets. volume and tone controls. orange glossy finish with wood grain visible through it, 6 strings-nylon and silver wrapped nylon, wired for use with an amp.
I find this guitar really easy to play, much easier than my earlier guitar. This is my first full sized guitar and I worried that it would seem large, but from the moment I first tried it in the shop the guitar has just fit me perfectly.
I play classical and folk music on it and the sound is very clear, full, rich, and vibrant. The guitar just sings. A much deeper and richer sound than other guitars that I've played. I have noticed that sometimes it buzzes a bit, but I've checked each fret and I know that the buzzing is just coming from me not having a firm fingering.
I do have to re-tune it often as I play. It doesn't go horribly out of tune, but the higher strings especially tend to drift just a bit. It holds it's basic tuning very well, though, when it is set aside for several days. I often return to it and find it needs only a little adjustment to be tuned again.
