Overall Rating:
I demo'd this next to a Fender Acoustasonic JR. I felt the Peavy had a better overall sound and more features for the price.
Model Year: 1999
Price: $429.00 (new)
Where Obtained: Musical Overtures (Local Dealer)
Features:
This is a solid state amp.
Sound Quality:
Excellent acoustic reproduction. I have a guitars with piezo and magnetic pickups. This amp handles both types with ease. An acoustic sounds like an acoustic. Tones are warm and clear.
Ease of Use:
This amp is fairly easy to use. It took awhile to find the best EQ settings for the guitars with magnetic pickups. My 12-string still sounds a bit too bright. That's the reason for the slight downgrade.
Durability:
I've had this amp for a year and dragged it around quite a bit. No problems.
