I chose this amp because of the vintage distortion. If it was lost, I would definitely buy another just like it. To improve, however, it could be a little more powerful for live performances. However, the leather covering and the cool look has got to be the best feature on this amp. If you hate amps that look 60's then i do not recomend this amp to you. If you visit danelectro.com, you can see pictures of it and order it if you like.

It has a volume switch, a treble, bass, and middle knob, and a distortion control. Its a fairly powerful amp for its size.
I have used a Stratocaster electric guitar with it and it sounded great. While Im not very proficient, this amp puts out great vintage sound for playing the tunes of the 50's, 60's, and 70's. At high volumes it does fairly decent, although it is a little fuzzy.
The amp is not programmable, but it is fairly easy to obtain a good sound.
I have not used it for extreme amounts of time, but it seems like a sturdy built amp. The actual construction is very strong, and it could take a beating in transit and still play well.
