Did not look at any other amps. Simply because he price was right. I would buy this amp again. I like its features. For a compact amp, it has tons of features, and packs a punch. Also the line out is a plus because I plan to patch to a PA system with it. The only drawback is it has the furniture finish, that you simply don't want to damage.
Model Year: 2000
Price: $150.00 (new)
Where Obtained: eBay
Features:
A solid state amp at 30 watts, with allot of punch. Has a guitar input with gain and level, Master volume, treble, mid, and bass. Also has a mic input with a level button. Has a line out jack and headphone jack. The really neat thing about this compact amp is the fact that it has an active equalizer with treble, mid. and bass controls also. Did I mention reverb too. And last but not least, it also has chorus, with speed and intensity controls.
Sound Quality:
Right now an Ovation acoustic electric is the main guitar used with this amp. But I have run a Washburn and a Guild through it and they all have the excellent sound you would expect from an acoustic amp. The amp emulates the sound of the acoustic guitar to a tee. And with the effects, it turns an ordinary acoustic into a different animal. No unwanted noise at all!
Ease of Use:
It is very easy to use. Even when you first try it.
Durability:
The amp has a perforated steel grill. And has an all wood grain finish. The only disadvantage is it looks like a piece or furniture. And I am afraid to transport it.
