If you don't have a lot of money, but you want a great guitar: buy this one!
Model Year: 1996
Price: $450.00 (new)
Where Obtained: a store
Features:
This guitar was made in Japan. It has a greatly formed black body (I don't really know what kind of wood...). The neck is a bit more brownish and has 6 strings and 24 frets. The pickup configuration is SSH and there are two controls: volume and tone and one switch with 5 possibilities. Everything on the guitar is still original from Jackson. Locking tuner is one of the advantages of this guitar.
Playability:
This guitar is easy to be played: a low action, small neck (sometimes a disadvantage maybe...).
Sound Quality:
For guitarists who play in metal bands I can only recommend it. It's in the style of Ibanez... just like the looks. Although sometimes it sounds a bit crunchy...
Durability:
Just as you see I already have it 6 years, so I think it's not a bad one! You may have to adjust its neck sometimes, but it stays tuned a long time, even if you trying to play the weirdest solos. So it's pretty reliable.

I bought this coz I got it real cheap but I still love it
Price: $100.00
Where Obtained: private seller
Features:
Korean made. 24 frets. Nice flat rosewood neck. H/S/S pickups. It's supposed to have locking tuners but mines got standard so I guess thats been changed.
Playability:
Mines pretty badly set-up. (I'm gonna get that seen to) but it still plays well.
Sound Quality:
Amazing for a grungey metal sound. Not too good clean though
Durability:
Not even a slight ding yet and I play in a similar sort of way to Kurt.
