This guitar seems to command attention where ever it is taken and played. Other bass players who have tried it out have found it to be enjoyable as well. A guitar that seems to be flexable, wonderful to work with and a beautiful. I have only once seen another of similar design on tv but have not been able to get too much info about this beast at all.

I have not been able to find out too much at all about the history of this guitar . I would love to hear from anyone who could enlighten me. I refunbished it and have it up and playing. It has a longer neck than the normal bass and is quite striking. It is a semi-accoustic archtop and looks as if it could be from the 50s or 60s. Roland has been unable to give me much info at all nore have I seen anything of this type in guitar books??
The playability of this guitar is excellent provided you handle the possible feedback problem correctly.
Powerful yet capable of more subtlty, deep and well colored. Not real good in small situations but excels in a rock/blues invironment. Does well with country also.
