I "stole" this $329.00 guitar from the owner of Music Man in Brighton, Michigan. Love the tone of it. The action is great and as rough as i am on it, has proven to be quite durable. Holds tune for days and plays realy well. Id definately reccomend it for beginners
Price: $180.00 (new)
Where Obtained: Music Man in Brighton, Mich
Features:
Made in China with 20 frets Mohagonny side neck and back Gloss finish
Playability:
Mid to low action nice smooth play no twang on fret board very durable. Mine has been dropped a few times and still holds tune and plays well. No flaws untill i got my hands on it. Good "first" guitar
Sound Quality:
Has a full sound to it. I play everything on it and it does well enough for me. Was thinkin about puttin classical strings on it to get a more "twanggy" sound out of it. But overall i am happy with it
Durability:
Once again this guitar has been put through the ringer. In case dropped. Drug off of a bench and slammed onto concrete. 4 yr old girl playing with it. knocked over time and time again. No problems yet .

I really like this guitar, and I think its a great guitar to learn on. If I had to start all over again, unless there was a better beginner's "pack" or guitar that I have heard about, I would still buy this one.
Model Year: 2002
Price: $220.00 (new)
Where Obtained: Sam Ash
Features:
Made in China, I don't know too much about the features, black finish, sealed, non locking tuners.
Playability:
Never goes out of tune, even in temperature changes, action was set well for me at Sam Ash, the frets are smooth and easy to slide over. I compared it to the Yamaha FG-310 and this beat it, hands down.
Sound Quality:
I haven't heard any better instruments or played with higher tier instruments to hear any difference, but this guitar sounds really good. It's a little boomy, but thats not a problem. I'm a beginner and I play all kinds of music that's not too hard and this guitar is fine for all the music I've played so far.
Durability:
It can take a beating, I have dropped it many times, have the strap fall off and the guitar hit the ground, but nothing really happened to it except some minor dings. It hardly goes out of tune, even during temperature changes.

My overall opinion of this guitar was good considering it was my first. But i will say that if this guitar was stolen I would buy it again. The price was that good! Tha the best part too. It's an fairly good guitar that would empty your wallet. Great for Beginners who don't have a lot to spend, and old pro's who would like something unplugged for the to just pickup and play.

Great learning tool for the beginner guitarist. It's a six-string, accuostic guitar. Twenty-four frets, natural finish, brown sides and back with gold hardware.
Sound Quality:
Very warm sound. Seems to be very versitile. Great for folk styles.

I could rant for hours on this guitar, its beaten everyhting from guitars that are hundreds more to guitars that are 20 years older. I know this guitar from end to end, theres no glue drips left inside and theres no hanging woodchips like some other massed produced guitars i've seen. unless i hit the lottery, i would definetly buy another one of these guitars, there would be a great price gap between this guitar and one that owuld sound better.(as netscape crashed for the 5th time while writing this, sry if i left anyhting out)
Model Year: 1999
Price: $159.00 (new)
Where Obtained: SAM ASH!
Features:
This peice was made in china, it has a mahogany back sides and neck, and a spruce topand a natural glossy finish. but waht i like best about this guitar is its neck, it has a slimemr neck then all other acustics i've played/seen.
Playability:
Having the slim neck, this guitar is very fast, the action on this guitar is great, and even after a year, i've never had to adjust the truss rod, after many temp changes from below freezing to 90+ in the summer, this guitar is still great.
Sound Quality:
This sound is amazing, its huge when you want it, and when you use you fingers instead of a pick you can get the "sound of silece". this guitar is amazing, every guitar i've put this up against, it always turns out mroe resonant, more clear, and it projects much better.
Durability:
I've dropped it, inside and out, its ridden in the trunk of a 17 year old driver(you knwo what i'mt alking about), is been in my g'f's backseat, its been drug across floors, it switches off spots with my electric for my only stnad once in a while, its been thrown around person to person more than a beer at a phrat party, the only lasting marks were a few light scratches on the back under the neck, and 2 tiny scratches on the bottom edge from being dropped outside.
