Overall Rating:
I think that the overall appeal of this guitar is "playablity for the right price". Buy one for that teenager as a step up from his garage guitar. It practices well and won't embarass you on stage.
Price: $150.00
Where Obtained: Owens Music
Features:
There are not a lot of bells or whistles here.
Playability:
Once you replace the factory strings which are "tinny at best", you have a very playable guitar. It's a bit on the smallish side for me (I'm 6'2" and 225lbs), but it's alot more agreeable to have it slung around my neck than my slab-of-a-bass.
Sound Quality:
I spend most of my time playing on a Crate GX 15R practice amp....I think they make a good pair.
Durability:
This is a great guitar to leave at home or in the studio...it doesn't seem to travel well.
