Description Wholenote.com is the premiere guitar site on the web. This is due mainly to it's very active user base that contributes both to forum topics, user reviews of equipment and other resources, and to it's comprehensive lesson base.

As a perpetual student and constant seeker of new resources, I would have to give Wholenote an unqualified "two-thumbs up!" This is the real deal - a continually growing and expanding knowledge base touching on every aspect of all things guitar. There are flashier sites, with more bells and whistles, but none as all-encompassing. This is a genuine community, and the give and take gives Wholenote a life of it's own.

5 stars is the highest rating they will let me give here but try and count the stars in the sky and it would be close to the rating that I give WN. I said it before and I will keep saying it, WN is by far, without any comparison, the best site that there is. All the lessons, all the people that one can learn from, and very little BS to weed through to get an answer you want. No other site has this.

From it's constantly growing collection of lesson material, to the huge database of actual user equipment and resource reviews, to it's extremely active forums, I haven't been able to find another web source that even comes close. And, if you can't find it here, you assuredly will find a link to the place where you can. I also like the "homepage" feature where members can build a home page including pictures. It's nice to read reviews and comments, and then usually be able to click right over to a "self-portrait" that links you to the author as a person.
