I keep this guitar by my bed, so I can play before going to sleep at night, or pick it up and play if I can not sleep at night. It is not the best guitar in the world, but it is an excellent acoustic for the price I paid. It was a good deal, and I love it. In the hands of a good guitarist, the PF5 sounds as good as guitars costing much more. I would buy this one again, but it would not be my performance acoustic. But for picking around and having fun, this is one of the best.
Model Year: 2001
Price: $175.00 (new)
Where Obtained: Zzounds
Features:
This is a good entry level acoustic guitar. It has a spruce top and rosewood fretboard.
Playability:
The PF5 plays well. The action is low and it plays easily.
Sound Quality:
The sound is very bright. I play rock and pick out songs from fake books and I love the sound I get from it.
Durability:
This is my beater guitar. I have not had any trouble with it. I think it will take a licking and keep on ticking.
