It plays purfectly. perfect size neck. best guitar ive ever had. no flaws.
Country and rock style. its suited for any style. its has a real nice and clear sound. it isnt noisey at all. good stage handling.
I got this guitar for an excellent price. And was not in the market for a guitar at the time. I would buy this guitar again, at the price I paid for it. I like it's playability, and mobility. The tone is good, but it lacks volume.

The AE38 Manufactured by the world famous Ovation company. Round back acoustic electric guitar
It took 30-odd years of Ovation guitarmaking innovation to design an affordable guitar that doesn't sound like an affordable guitar. The Summit Series: These guitars boast a bigger sound than guitars costing twice as much. For the most part that's due to the Lyrachord body - the same U.S.A. made body found on upscale Ovations. Its roundback shape capitalizes on the structural power of the arch freeing the insides of sound-deadening bracing that traditional-style guitars require.
Had it setup and the action is excellent. As with all my guitars, I need the cutaway style body for my playing styles. And this guitar fits the bill. It is a good guitar for the price. Compares well with it's daddy Ovation line of guitars. Only flaw, would be the volume of the guitar, due to it's thinner body
I use it through a Prime acoustic amp. Play blues, and rock on the guitar. It has a warm sound to it. Right now it is only used for home practicing.
Very reliable guitar, and I think it would hold up well on stage. All my guitars are climate controlled. So I am not sure how it would hold up to extreme climates. I don't believe any guitar can take extreme climate changes.
