It's a really simple amp. It has 2 independent channels: clean and overdrive. The overdrive channel had 2 options: od1 and od2, the latter being 20 dB more gain. The two independent channels have each treble, middle and bass controls. There is also a gain knob for each channel and a volume knob for the overdrive channel. Master knobs are volume, reverb (nice) and parallel effect loop mix. Simple, but effective! I think it is powerful enough for small gigs and rehearsals. Good for blues, rock, metal, ...
Being a simple amp, it has a sound for you or it has not. You can't create completely different sounds, but you can play with your tone over a broad spectrum! I like the od2 the most, but also the clean channel. The clean gets a bit distorted at higher volumes, but with the volume knob on your guitar you can adjust it to clean. The od1 is not my favourite - it could be richer sounding - although I didn't use the amp at a rehearsel yet... It seems for me that this amp offers much much more at higher volumes (of course... :)). I used to have a marshall valvestate: I can't compare, this is MUCH better!
Easy... :) It's maybe a bit tricky to get your ideal clean sound, especially at higher volumes.
I don't really know, I only got it a couple of days ago. I haven't had any problems yet...
Ive look at Crate, Fender, and Ibanez half stacks and this suited me the most i wouldnt have any other amp. I would defenatly buy this amp agin if were stollen. The only thing i can find that could make it better wich really isnt a big problem at all is it dosent have a distortion channel.

It Has Dual Switch lead its great it has an effects loop its powerful enough to play stuff from Blues to Heavy metal like Korn or Black Label Society. It runs off of tubes in my opinion tube powered amps sond better solid electronic powering. It has no over drive switch so be sure to have a distortion pedal for it if u want one.
I use a Gibson Les Paul Standard, Boss Mega Distotion Pedal, and a Jim Dunlop Wah with it. I play Metal with this amp and it fits this style perfect along with any other style u want to play. Its noisy some times but very rarely. Its clean tone is awsome but it has no distortion so thats a good and a bad thing. Good because u can chose the sound u want comein out of it with your own distortion peadle Bad if u dot have a pedal.
Its very easy to get a good sound with this amp because it dosent have many controlls ive used other amps that have lots of different controlls and its very hard to get the sound u want.
Its reliable enough to use the rst of your life mine has never let me down. I play mine alot so i useually need new tubes ever 4 months. Its consrtucted well i dont know wut exactly its made out of but its really durable.
Great amp. I played a Fender Concert for years and now I'm in love with this Marshall. Very versatile for any style of playing.

Very simple set up which suits me well. I tried the Mesa Boogie Nomad which is a great amp but too complex. Clean, overdrive and 20 DB boost. Replaced stock speaker with Vintage 30, much more headroom especially on the clean channel. All tube, effects loop, foot switchable reverb.
Great sounding amp, especially when cranked but good at low volumes as well. Playing a Strat with Fralin pu's and Hotrails in the bridge. The amp screams.
Again, very simple set up, very easy to use.
This is an excellent amp for gigging although i fear it is too loud for bedroom players. the best thing is its versatility and i would buy it again if it were stolen. although it is a pity the clean channel does not have the usual volume knob;instead it has a gain knob. this may be useful to some as it then actually creates another usable lead channel.
3-band EQ for each channel. Has two overdrive modes for the overdrive channel: OD1 and OD2. footswitch allows switching between clean and OD1 and OD2.effects loop with FX mix knob. D.I. output with speaker emulation is also very useful. the clean sound is fantastic and overall the amp is very versatile and produces many different tones.
I use a fender voodoo strat and a dunlop wah through it and it sounds great. it is fairly clean at high volumes but when the tubes start to distort it sounds perfect for blues. I play mainly blues rock and some jazz and i find this amp well-suited to what i play. the sound is more upfront than a lot of other amps i have used in the past while producing a strong tone.
Very easy to use. although the fx mix control may confuse some.
Although i've only had it a while the construction seems sturdy enough. no defects found.
