This school has a great curriculum, really great teachers who've been highly involved in the music biz and a lot of them still are, and the overalll atmosphere of the school is wonderful. Tuition prices are not bad at all, and they offer 3 month, 6 month and full year programs. They also have a very interesting and fun summer program which I myself have attended before. The summer program runs five days and you attend classes covering all the aspects of being a musician. I have not met a single person yet who has went there and not felt that they had one of the greatest musical experiences of their life. Very enriching atmosphere, and overall a wonderful school for the musician who is ready to learn all they need to know and just get out there and play.

LAMA offers education for the musician in the form of one-year, six-month, three-month or even a one-week summer session to sharpen and create the skills needed as a professional musician or teacher. This is a very impressive school run by Frank Gambale with occasional visits by performers such as Gare Hoey, John Scofield & Vinnie Colaiuta. Cost wise, LAMA is very comparable to similar music schools.
