Great debut, it shows the base in blues and standard rock and roll. Reminds me of how ZZ Top has a great base in the blues. Whole Lotta Rosie rocks like "Baby Please Don't Go". Real rockin' boogie.

Production values were not great. It is a more raw and stripped down recording. Not typical of their later work, but needed for any Real Rock fans library.

This is the best acdc album ever black in black is s--- compared to this. this is the REAL ACDC and has a good bulesey feel( thats what acdc is all about). There later stuff is kind popy.

A great album, but not their best by far. TNT and Whole Lotta Rosie I like, but the others, well...what can I say? This album seems kind of misguided, but interesting nonetheless. Good guitar work, just not my style. Throw out "Little Lover"! Don't buy this CD as your first AC/DC album. You might like it, you might not, but they have better stuff out there (Highway to Hell, Back In Black).

This album cannot be compared with any AC/DC album they made during the 80's : it's full of the Bluesy feeling melting with this good Hard Rock beat. The Jack, It's a long way, TNT, ... We really miss Bon Scott. For those who love the way Bon sings, you will love this album, even if it is 25 years old !

Fairly good tunes. You may not enjoy it as much as their more popular CD's. this one is more for the fan.

By no means better than, say, "Back in Black," but it holds some of the classic AC/DC anthems. (the Jack, It's a Long Way to the Top) Could do without "Little Lover." Pretty much a good album. Don't get this album as your first AC/DC, because, it ain't their best!
