This is actually my second guitar and first resophonic. I did a lot of research on them before buying and even though this was a significant outlay, I am very pleased with it. Now, if I can just learn to play it.

The action is a bit high to be played as a guitar, but since the primary use is as a lap steel, this is not a real problem.
When played as a lap steel, the sound is amazing. Just the wailing "DOBRO"-like sound you would expect. It has a lot of personality.
I have treated it with kid gloves. It has a chrome finish and I was told to wipe off all finger prints every time I used it or they would etch into the surface. It takes about a year for a natural oxidation layer to form to avoid this. The wipe down only takes a minute or so and I would probably do it anyway.
