Klei Zemer (a Hebrew name meaning roughly "instruments of praise") is about as American as they come. It carries mainly Fender, Gibson/Epiphone, and Ibanez guitars and basses; Fender, Ibanez, and other amps; keyboards from various manufacturers such as Yamaha; and professional recording equipment, racks, etc. The selection of guitar accessories is also satisfactory, although they lack in the pedal department.
My one gripe is that, unlike with most stores in the US, they will not let you play a guitar unless they think you'll buy it. This is aggravating for a teenager whom they know will not be buying anything more expensive than a low-end capo. Oh, and one final note: Their prices are in Israeli Shekel, which are worth about $0.25. Thus, that Les Paul with a price tag of 8000 is only $2000.
