Blink 182 isn't as deep in emotions as Green Day, but they make their own version of punk with four or five albums-this one, the most pop-loving so far, Enema Of The State, so far their bigest selling album ever.
Even though almost all songs sound the same, or at least most of them, this album is great for the pun generation. Instead of having three-chord music like GD, they decide to play their music a lot faster, with less distortion on their guitars and a way faster drum set that most of the time sounds like a mess-but yet music, much like the drummer of the Who, it reminds me of.
If you look at the entire album, the only song that would stand out really far among the rest would have to be "Adam's Song", a lot more serious driven than any of their other songs, but yet at the same time is still a Blink song. Rare bands can pull that off and still sound cool.
Their guitars are stratocasters, a standard issue for most punk bands, or at least it was. Blink definetly has a unique sound: making me wait for their next album due later this year (June actually, my birth month).
