I like Fender but this one has a s/s/h pickup con. and is very versatile.I wouldn't buy the guitar again. It's neck is smoother than a strat and the humbucker gives it more bite. The s/s/h pickup array is great but the neck action is not low enough.
Price: $300.00 (new)
Where Obtained: Hometown Music
Features:
Made in US.It has a Rosewood fretboard and neck. 6 string with 22 frets. 2 tone knobs and 1 volume. s/s/h pickup configuration. Natural finish. String thru body bridge. Non locking tuners
Playability:
Can't obtain very low action. The neck is a tad rigid. It plays just like an American Standard Strat. It contains no flaws
Sound Quality:
I use a Crate GX-30M amplifier and a Boss GT-3 multieffects unit. I play metal,blues,rock,neo-classical and country and the guitar does great on all. It's well suited for many other styles. It sounds warm and full. It sounds very close to a stratocaster. I want to change pickup though. No it's a quiet guitar. It seems better in the studio.
Durability:
It's very reliable. Never needs adjusting. The hardware holds up good. It is excellent in climate changes.
