One of Neils' Best! My favorite is Losing End. "OK Leslie, Hit It!" I agree that Whitten is an asset to the recording with his "lead" rhythm guitar, especially on Down By The River & Cowgirl in the Sand.

What can i say, great album, but dont give all the great guitar work credit to neil, the late danny whitten on guitar plays a very important role in this and all other crazt horse project up until his death of an overdose on heiroin,

Neil shows all his faces on this incredible album. His more mellow acoustic side on "Round & Round" and "Running Dry". Then shows his raw electric side on "Down by the River" "Cinnamon Girl" and "Cowgirl in the Sand". As on the many collaborations that would follow Crazy Horse are more than sufficient on back up. This album contains 3 of Neil more lasting singles and established him as a rock star and this is the album bands such as Nirvana and Pearl Jam would look to as the foundations of "Grunge".
