Dean Strat Copy

Guitar

Made by Dean

Description This is a damn good guitar for beginners. 22 frets, five way toggle, volume and treble and bass knobs, holds tune excellent. Solid body very durable. Meaty sound. Kinda heavy, but worth it.

I don't really like this thing very much. I use it as a backup guitar for songs like Smells Like Teen Spirit and Self Esteem. It's durable and you can really bash on it cuz it has high action. Get yourself a good strap and bash away. I just got an Ibanez RG570 which is absolutely f---ing LEAUGES beyond this s---. Check out my review of that for some real help.
Price: $420.00 (new)
Where Obtained: Starving Musician in San Jose
Features:
Just your basics here. A Fender style whammy bar could be attached. The bridge is non-locking and string through body, but it floats anyway.
Playability:
Neck movement is good, but the action is high and hard to adjust. Big frets.
Sound Quality:
Not very good sound. With the right effects it kinda sounds like Tool-ish.
Durability:
Damn solid.
