This is one of the best debut albums I have ever heard. Dimebag has wonderful riffs and solos that just blow me (and maby you) away! This is a great album any Metalhead should hear:) "Cemetary Gates" is also a very nice song on the album. You wouldnt expect a slow song like that on a Pantera album but it just adds to the albums greatness.

What an awesome debut album.i had heard almost no buzz about this band at all so when the college station if the cowpoke town i live in finally played it my friends and i had to pull off the road and just sit and listen to it.nice riffs, tight rhythms, fast overall speed.dimebags solos are little snapshots of shred technique.some people disagree but i hear some van halen in his playing, like the descending sliding lick in cowboys from hell and his generous use of symmetrical fingerings across the fretboard.all the songs rock, my faves are domination, cowboys, cemetary gates.

This is a very solid meatl effort by an extremely brutal band!. I remember being floored the first time I ever heard it. Great tunes and even better guitar playing.

Best Pantera ever. I hate to admit it but Dimebag Darrell Has gone the way of modern day guitarist. When each new album comes out the riffs become easier and have less solos. This album on the other hand has many solos which shows Dimebag's best work.

A breakthrough release for all the metal heads out there. Pantera's best work in my opinion. This CD is solid proof that Dimebag is one of the best riff writers out there.

This is a very good cd. There are no tracks on it that I dislike. Their later albums where a little more powerful, but I think that this is their fastest album. They are not at heavy at this point, but this were very heavy for an album at the time it was released. It still holds up as a very good metal recording, with such classic tracks as Cowboys from Hell, Cemetery Gates, and The Art Of Shredding. It also packs fast, violent tracks, like Primal Concrete Sledge. Overall, a very good cd, but a little too "primitive" to pull a five.
