This is a great sounding guitar pedal for everyone looking to recreate vintage and modern sounds comparable to the classic tube amps of the 60s. I use this pedal mainly for blues, but it could be used for grunge or metal/hard rock as well. I use it with a Fender Frontman 15R amp on the clean channel.

Use it with a tad of distortion with your amp's clean channel to get mellow blues tones, or go all the way with your distortion cranked on your amp and the drive boost on the pedal to get some monster distortion for lead or rhythm work.

I'm a big fan of all my DOD pedals and I think they're a much better value than anything Boss produces.
